ORIGIN
This coffee comes from Don Sabino Coffee & Micromill, a father-son business in the Alajuela region of Costa Rica. Gilberth and Esteven Vargas specialise in natural processed coffee, which is precisely the type of coffee they prefer.
Gilberth and Esteven operate very meticulously within this type of coffee, and they manage entire process, as they harvest, dry, process (remove the berry and the parchment layer) and store the coffee themselves - and do it in their own home.
Gilberth and Esteven go to work meticulously and have control over the entire process, as they both harvest themselves, dries, processes (removes the berry and the parchment layer) and stores the natural coffee - and does it in their own home.
Don Sabino Coffee & Micromill owns and manages several coffee farms: El Jordan, El Apostol, El Orvo and La Roca. Here they experiment with several different varieties, and they export coffee beans to many different places in the world - but Esteven and Gilberth also distribute locally, so that their countrymen and -women also have the opportunity to taste the coffee.
