ORIGIN
Exquisite Gesha coffee from the area around the Ilamatepec volcano in the Apaneca mountain range, located in western El Salvador. Grown on the Finca Plan del Hoyo farm (100 hectares), which was started by the now deceased Francisco de Sola, who in 2005 chose to focus on specialty coffee and invest in different coffee varieties. He has left behind a nutritious soil and a farm with a healthy environment that takes care of the nature in the area.
Although Finca Plan del Hoyo has been challenged by large amounts of rain and the general hard work involved in harvesting the coffee berries, Francisco's descendants manage to grow exceptional and complex coffee of very high quality, which has also been selected for the Cup of Excellence.
Gesha is one of the most exclusive and sought-after coffee varieties in the world with a very distinct, well-balanced floral and fruity flavor.
